"Twyla” finished her conformation championship
before she was two years old, taking Best of Breed over Specials!! She has also been awarded Best of Opposite Sex two
times from the classes and two as a Special with very limited showing. As a young puppy of 6 mos old, she came in second to
her sister at the 71st National Specialty in Lansing, MI in the 6-9 mos. bitch puppy class. Twyla has always been
expertly owner handled by her co-owner, Liz Thomas.
She is
a beautiful coppery red wheaten and has excellent bone structure in her face, giving her great expression. Her movement
always sets her apart from other dogs, with balanced reach and drive and a solidly correct down and back. She is
also just as sweet as she is beautiful. Twyla's favorite pastime is staring at you adoringly in hopes you will give
her MORE attention.
Twyla now lives her retirement years in North Carolina
with long-time Ridgeback owner/breeder Dudley Hackney who sold Debbie her first Ridgeback in 1989. Twyla was bred by Liz and Chris Demery of Sulawesi Sighthounds and Carlee Davies of Aslan Sighthounds. We are thankful to Liz
and Chris for entrusting such a beautiful and loving Ridgeback to us!
