Disa whelped these puppies from a breeding to Pierce
Arrow (1993-2003) in October, 2003. The litter was co-bred with and lovingly raised by Liz and Chris Demery, Sulawesi Ridgebacks, in Michigan.
When I first decided to breed my foundation bitch, Disa, there
was never a doubt about breeding to Pierce...it just felt right. Pierce and Disa exude confidence and character...traits
becoming increasingly more rare in our breed as fear issues become more prevalent. They both possess all the traits
and abilities necessary to perform the duties they were bred for. No one who knows either of these dogs would doubt
their abilities to hunt and protect.
Pierce was an impressive show dog with beautiful movement and
a presence in the ring unmatched, in my opinion, by any other Ridgeback since. I am so grateful we were able to make
this match come to life! In honor of Pierce Arrow, all puppies in this litter are named after antique cars.
