We are excited about breeding Bandia who exemplifies all the qualities the Ridgeback breed are known for....loyal and loving to family while reserved with strangers, protective but not aggressive and a keen hunter with a strong prey drive.  She is also a drama queen and keeps us on our toes daily.  

Bandia was bred and co-owned by Liz & Chris Demery of Sulawesi Ridgebacks and co-owned by Debbie Welsh of Yandisa Sighthounds.  She has many award-winning AKC Conformation and Lure Coursing Champions in her pedigree.  Both her parents are Dual Champions, finishing their Championships easily.  

Bandia achieved her AKC Conformation Championship in 2011, is half-way to her Grand Championship and has points toward her Lure Coursing Championship after just one weekend of trials.

If you are interested in a show or pet puppy from this litter, please fill out our "Puppy Questionnaire" and we will get back to you as soon as possible.  As you have already probably experienced, Ridgeback puppies from reputable breeders are typically spoken for prior to the litter being born, so we encourage you to get in touch with us as soon as possible to ensure you have an opportunity to be considered for a puppy.  The breeding is planned for January/February, 2012 and puppies would be whelped March/April.  They will be ready to go to their new homes in May/June.
